Upholstery
We treat your upholstered furniture as if it were our own. Using the finest quality materials, we re-upholster your contemporary or antique furniture so that it will be beautiful and serviceable for years to come. During our process, we
- assist you in the design process, including fabric selection,
- carefully remove all old fabric and padding,
- inspect the frame for damage, making any necessary repairs and touching up exposed wood, webbing, springs, and more,
- sanitize the frame,
- tailor your selected fabric for your piece, carefully matching patterns,
- create & tailor cushions, using the core of your choice: foam, down, innerspring, or a combination.
We pick up and deliver your furniture, handling your piece with care from the time we load it on our truck until we place it back in your home.
Window Treatments
Custom window treatments can pull a room together, giving it a distinctive flair. Let’s work together to design and create something that reflects your style, is functional, and pulls your room together.
Send us a picture of your room and window(s), and we can brainstorm options and ideas. We can do it all remotely, or we can come to your home for an in-house consultation.
We have a large number of fabrics and nails to choose from. Once you have narrowed down your choice, we can send samples of your top picks. Set them out and see how they look in the light of your room, feel their texture, and compare colors with other elements in your room. Once you are ready, we’ll get started, designing, creating, delivering, and installing your new window treatments.

John’s will meticulously restore your antique furniture, carefully considering the furniture’s age and its special place in your heart. - selecting fabric and trims,
- repairing or replacing padding,
- removing, inspecting, and repairing or replacing springs,
- fixing loose frames or joints,
- touching up or refinishing exposed wood and
- sanitizing the frame if necessary.
Fabrics & Decorative Nails
You’ll love our wide range of fabrics from premier national fabric warehouses. We are proud to say that many of our fabrics are loomed or manufactured in the USA. You can also add decorative nails to your piece to create a unique look.
