My husband and I just got our furniture back and are very happy with the results. John reupholstered our 38 year old solid oak love seat and sofa and it just looks fantastic! Kay was also very helpful with guiding us on fabric choices. When delivering our monstrously heavy oak pieces, great care was taken. John is a busy guy because he’s that good, so plan on some waiting. It WILL be worth the wait!

We have a home in the mountains that is full of Mid Century Modern Furniture. Our sofa which is one of a kind and some recliners also one of a kind were falling apart. John and his team repaired/rebuilt the recliner mechanisms and of course did a beautiful job on the upholstery. The couch has lots of piping and detail work that was done to perfection. John also picked up and delivered at very reasonable pricing. I will always use John for any upholstery needs and highly recommend him

Craftsmanship: “skill at making things, or the skill with which something was made or done (Cambridge Dictionary).” John and his small team, on our last three occasions of bringing him old furniture to restore, have demonstrated the true meaning of craftmanship. On our most recent visit, we brought him a very tired, but no longer made recliner which we loved. He completely rebuilt and reupholstered it and now looks better than when we bought it some 16 years ago. We believe excellent reviews are earned and not given. In John and his team’s case, he has earned this review and our continued business.

John did a beautiful job restoring and reupholstering a chair that has been in our family for ages. The fabric is great, the legs look like new. Very happy!

I have a rare vintage Florence Knoll sofa and I agonized over having it done. A friend who also has a good collection of vintage furniture recommended John. I am so happy I took her recommendation. The process was flawless and easy. I sent john detailed pictures, we figured out yardage, I ordered it, got on the schedule. His team picked the sofa up and delivered it back for a reasonable charge. All of that customer service is important but the most important is the finished product, I could not be happier with the job they did. The corners are tight, the sofa looks fantastic. The buttons line up perfectly…great all the way around. My only suggestion and this has nothing to do with John but I wish I had ordered a bigger sample of the fabric., the color reads a little lighter than I expected it to. Its still good but I was surprised, just a bit of advice. Thanks John !
